South Africa - February 2017

Not surprisingly, you see sights in Africa that you would not come across normally in the UK. Some of these are simply different, others are things which are “normal” in South Africa to the extent that they would not cause comment by or arouse interest in those living there, but which to my UK eyes at least, are highly noticeable, and even in some cases, horrifying!

So here are a few grabbed shots taken on busy main roads, or even freeways, (ie. Motorways), in and around Johannesburg. Look out for total disregard for Health & Safety; Hawkers selling in the middle of  multiple lane highways; no pens at Home Affairs, (as they are ALWAYS stolen!), and security “air-locks” at post offices and banks.
